The
Oakmoor Country Inn, is our Bed and Breakfast located in the
Blue Ridge Mountains of VA.
Our Inn is set on 13 acres on Afton Mountain in beautiful Nelson
County. It’s located 25 minutes from Charlottesville and Staunton
and is only 15 minutes from the golf courses of Wintergreen Resort.
Enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains when you
cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway or Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah
National Park. With easy access to I-64 our bed and breakfast is
convenient to University of Virginia or Monticello or
Charlottesville. You will definitely enjoy wine tasting at Central
Virginia's award-winning wineries - only minutes from the Oakmoor

A new log home with the feel and charm of days gone by, the
Oakmoor Country Inn bed and breakfast features wide-plank
heart-pine floors, a soaring two-story great room with a
stone fireplace and three comfortably appointed guest rooms.
The theme for the décor of the bed and breakfast is an
Adirondack lodge – with leather seating areas in the great
room and rustic wicker furniture on the covered porch. |
 Each
of the three rustically elegant guest rooms has a queen-size bed
with down comforter, a cozy gas fireplace and a private bath with a
romantic jetted tub and separate shower. Each room is individually
appointed with antiques, hair dryers, fluffy designer robes and soft
linens. They also have individual controls for heating and
air-conditioning.
A
delicious home-baked country breakfast will be served each morning.
Typical breakfast items may include: homemade banana bread, quiche,
cheese soufflé, apple-butter pancakes, blueberry muffins,
fresh-ground coffee, regular or herb teas, juice and seasonal fruit.
The
Inn also houses a small antique shop featuring a variety of antiques
from the owner's personal collection.
