"Our stay here was wonderful - the perfect weekend get-a-away from the hustle & bustle of Washington! Breakfast was fantastic, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the atmosphere was peaceful. You have a beautiful home! We really enjoyed visiting the area's orchards to pick apples and pumpkins and reading quietly in the great room. " It was the first glimpse of the light in the windows of the great room as you pull into the drive on Friday night - after leaving the week's work, emails, & papers behind and to see you two coming to the door with such warmth and ease - you greet us and we know we are in a place of refuge. The Chestnut Suite was another welcomed sight - all done up for Valentine's Day with a carnation on the pillow; such a sweet touch. We marveled at how peaceful it is here. A Jacuzzi and massages and we were definitely ready to drift off to sleep watching the fire flicker.
To wake up to snow falling was just amazing! What a picture perfect morning as we stepped out to see the new snow. The coffee was well timed and perfectly mastered. We cannot wait to find our way back to your B&B. Thank you both for a wonderful retreat."
